Speaker and Poster Instructions

Poster Presenters

• The poster format is portrait with size DIN A0.
• The poster sessions take place in the foyer right outside the main lecture hall of the symposium. Poster stands as well as magnets for fixing the posters will be present there.
• There is no pre-assignment of posters to specific stands.
• Presenters may hang their posters starting from the morning on the day of the poster session, and they are asked to remove it by the evening of the same day.

Spotlight Talk Speakers

• Speakers should arrive in the lecture hall at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the session.
• The lecture hall is equipped with a projector (HDMI connection) and a laser pointer. Speakers are kindly asked to bring their own laptop and, if needed, an HDMI adapter.
• Before the session starts, speakers should verify that their laptops can connect to the projector and slides are displayed correctly. In case of problems, a Windows laptop (with PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat Reader DC) will be available as backup.
• Each presentation is allocated 20 minutes: 15 minutes for the presentation itself, and 5 minutes for Q&A and speaker transition.
